Details

The workshop will be hosted by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and supported by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The Special Workshop will be an integral part of the "8th Annual Global Conference on Environmental Taxation", organised by the NGO Green Budget Germany. The conference will take place from Thursday, October 18, 2007 to Saturday, October 20, 2007. Naturally, we would be pleased if you can attend the workshop as well as the whole conference.

The keynote speaker is Professor Klaus Töpfer, former Executive Director of UNEP and former German Environment Minister. Plenary speakers include Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Professor Ernst-Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Dean of Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, California.
